  • Image-Only PDFs, Now Readable

A PDF made only of images and tables now reads through in full. Upload it as it is and ask away - the answer draws on what sits inside the tables, so there is nothing left to retype.

August 13, 2026
  • Motif 3 Officially LaunchesModel

The Motif 3 we shipped as a beta is now the finished model. Answers come back more accurate and better phrased, and replies no longer drift between Korean and English inside a single response.

July 28, 2026
  • A Response Level Selector

You can now set how much thinking goes into an answer, right from the input box - High for the hard questions, Low when you just want a quick reply. Answers that need longer reasoning get the time to finish, so they arrive complete instead of cutting off.

  • The ETF Assistant Shuts DownRetired

The ETF Assistant is closed as of this version. Thank you to everyone who used it - we're putting that focus into a deeper chat and document experience.

July 24, 2026
  • Small Talk: Shutting DownRetired

Small Talk is closed as of this version. Thank you to everyone who spent time with Todak and Talkchic - we're putting that focus into a deeper chat and document experience.

  • A Larger Input Limit

You can now enter much more in a single message, so long documents or code no longer need to be split up. We've also made attaching files simpler.

July 14, 2026
  • Motif 3 BetaModel

Motif 3, our own 300B model, arrives first as a beta. The bigger model brings noticeably more accurate, better-phrased answers, and the badge in the input box tells you which model you are talking to.

June 29, 2026
  • Document Attachment in Chat

Attaching documents used to be limited to enterprise workspaces - now anyone can do it right from chat. You don't even need to be signed in: drag a file in or use the refreshed attach button, and the assistant will search your document to help answer. Drop in a report or reference and ask away.

June 22, 2026
  • Dark Mode That Follows Your Device

The app now follows your device's appearance setting - if your OS is in dark mode, Motif automatically switches to a dark theme. The background, input box, and chat surfaces all shift to darker tones with no setting to toggle, while light mode stays exactly as it was. It's easier on the eyes at night or in low-light spaces.

June 17, 2026
  • A Refreshed Chat Home

The main chat screen you see after signing in has a fresh look. A gradient greeting tailored to the time of day and your name appears with a smooth animation, and the input box and background have been cleaned up for a tidier first impression.

  • Source Chips in Answers

When the AI answers using web search, you'll now see a source chip at the end of each cited sentence. Tap a chip to see exactly which site it drew from - favicon, domain, title, and publication date - and on mobile, chips with multiple sources open a bottom-sheet list you can browse. Citations stay in place even after you refresh or re-open the conversation, so you can check the basis for any answer at a glance.

  • Medical Consultation and Image Tools DiscontinuedRetired

To focus on our core experience, the Medical Consultation, image upload, and image generation features have been discontinued as of this version. Thank you to everyone who used them - we'll keep investing in a deeper chat and research experience.

December 3, 2025
  • Small Talk: Group Chat

You can now talk to Todak and Talkchic in the same room. Todak answers with warm empathy while Talkchic gets straight to the point, so the conversation moves with the energy of a group chat. Group Chat has been added to the history panel, so you can switch between it and the single-character rooms anytime.

November 12, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: A Guide While You Build

An AI assistant now walks you through building an ETF from start to finish. It reads your investment style, suggests a theme, and helps with picking holdings, setting weights, and even naming the fund. If you're not sure where to begin, just start the conversation and fill it in one step at a time.

November 5, 2025
  • Small Talk: Conversation Starters From Talkchic

Talkchic now sends conversation starters to the main page, not just Todak. You'll see a topic worth picking up, which makes it easier to fall into a wider range of chats. We also smoothed out moving between rooms and added a way to clear a character's conversation whenever you want.

October 24, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: Backtesting

You can now backtest an ETF you built and see one-month, one-year, and five-year returns as charts and numbers. You can also line it up against major market ETFs. Instead of stopping at the build, you get to see whether your strategy actually held up.

October 2, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: Build Your Own ETF

Pick a theme, add the companies you care about, set the weights, and your ETF is done. The complicated parts are stripped away, so you can shape a basket around your own investment thinking.

September 29, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: Industry and Sector Insights

News summaries, sentiment breakdowns, and search trends now work for industry and sector keywords like EV, semiconductors, or fintech. It's the same company-level analysis widened out, which makes it a quick way to see where a whole space is heading.

September 23, 2025
  • Small Talk: A New Conversation Rhythm

Talking with Todak and Talkchic now feels closer to messaging a real person. The conversation keeps moving even while a reply is on the way, so bubbles come back and forth without pausing, and each character's room carries colors tuned to its personality.

September 19, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: A Redesigned Company Insight View

Ask about a company and the news summary now comes back as friendly, readable content instead of a formal report. It also carries the positive-to-negative sentiment split, search volume shifts, and how much attention the company is drawing - so you can follow the story without being an analyst.

September 12, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: Market Sentiment Indicators

Company news summaries now carry the wider market mood alongside the articles themselves. The AI reads indicators like the Fear & Greed Index and VIX, then explains how those conditions could bear on the company you asked about.

  • Small Talk: Talkchic Joins the Cast

A new character, Talkchic, has joined Small Talk. Where Todak is gentle, Talkchic deals in hard truths, secondhand rage, and a fair amount of grumbling. The same story comes back with a completely different reaction, which is its own kind of fun.

August 29, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: A Daily Digest for Your Topics

Choose the areas you care about - AI, semiconductors, finance - either in conversation or from settings. A summary built around those choices arrives every morning, so you can catch the issues that matter without sifting through the news yourself.

  • Unlimited Conversation History

The 20-conversation cap per account is gone. Any past conversation stays available to reopen and continue whenever you need it.

August 14, 2025
  • ETF Assistant: Company News Summaries

Ask about a specific company and the AI gathers recent articles and boils them down to the essentials. You get a read on the company's direction and current issues without opening a dozen tabs yourself.

  • A New Image Generation ModelModel

The image generation model has been swapped for a more finely trained version. The architecture is unchanged, but the output quality is higher - expect more vivid images that hold their detail.

August 1, 2025
  • Academic Posters From PDF Papers

Upload a PDF paper and the AI pulls out the key visuals and content to lay out an academic-style poster. Download it as a PPTX to edit freely, and preparing for a conference gets a lot lighter.

  • Choosing Which Files to Use

When you've uploaded more than one file, you can now pick which ones a question should draw on. Even with a pile of material, answers come from the document you meant.

  • Editing Suggestions for Images

After an image is generated, the AI suggests ways it could be reworked. It's a quick way to settle on a direction, or to try a style you wouldn't have thought of.

July 18, 2025
  • Editing Drafts in Place

Report drafts built from a conversation are now directly editable. Fix a phrase that doesn't sit right or add what's missing on the spot, and bring the draft closer to final.

  • Uploads Raised to 40MB

The one-file-at-a-time limit is gone - upload any number of files per chat as long as the total stays under 40MB. A new indicator also shows how much space each conversation is using.

July 4, 2025
  • Report Drafts From Conversation

You can now generate a report draft from your conversation with the AI. Bring your uploaded files into it and the draft pulls from several sources at once, and you can download the finished draft as a PDF.

  • Conversational Image Editing

Both AI-generated and uploaded images can now be edited through conversation. Change the background, add or remove objects, adjust the style - all in the same chat.

  • Answers From a URL

Include a URL with your question and the answer is built from that page. The link has to come at the very start of the message - one placed mid-sentence or at the end won't be picked up.

June 20, 2025
  • Chatting With a Document

Upload a file and you can talk about what's inside it. Ask for a summary, an explanation, or anything you're unsure of, and dense material gets a lot easier to work through. For now, one PDF or TXT file up to 20MB is supported.

  • Small Talk: Saved Conversations

Sign in and your Small Talk conversations are saved. They used to disappear when the session ended - now you can pick one back up or look through what you said before.

June 5, 2025
  • Unsafe Requests Blocked Up Front

Sensitive or inappropriate messages and image prompts are now checked in stages and blocked before anything is generated. Both text and image use are safer for it.

May 23, 2025
  • Regenerating Answers and Images

Answers and images can now be regenerated. Run the same request again, see a different take, and keep the one that fits.

  • A Force-Search Option

When a search wouldn't trigger on its own, you can now force it to run. For questions that hinge on current information, that means a more grounded answer.

May 9, 2025
  • Chat and Image Generation, Merged

Text chat and image generation now live in the same service. Make an image inside the conversation, ask about it right there, and keep talking - without switching anywhere.

  • Image Upload and Understanding

Add a photo, a screenshot, or any other visual and talk about what's in it. The AI reads the image, works out what it shows, and answers your questions from there.

  • Small Talk: Launch

With Small Talk, the AI opens with something worth chatting about. It's built for light, everyday conversation - a friendlier way to spend a few minutes.

April 4, 2025

March 7, 2025

Start a new conversation and it's saved to your history with a title drawn from the first answer. Finding an old thread is a matter of reading down the list.

  • Typing While an Answer Streams

The input box no longer locks while a response is being written. Start your next question whenever it comes to you.

February 7, 2025
  • The Prompt Rewriter

Art Assistant now includes a prompt rewriter. It reworks what you typed so the generated result comes back stronger.

December 27, 2024
  • Medical Consultation: Referenced Pages
